Hi! This is Josh, the owner of LGS Electronics, here to talk a little bit about our store. We are a St. Cloud, MN local start up. LGS first really got started in 2011 when we realized how much stuff (electronics, games, etc.) we had sitting around and had the idea that we should open a retail store where people could buy and sell their gently used electronics. We signed a lease for a brick and mortar location buying and selling video games, cell phones, computers and other small electronics soon after, and have been steadily growing in business ever since. We have one specific mission, and that is to have a place for customers to come and get their electronics at a decent price, without all the department store mark ups.

In 2012 we added a repair department so people had an affordably priced place to go if they wanted their cell phone, computer, game console, etc., repaired rather than buying a whole new one. Customers responded well to this new service we were able to offer them and the list of items we are able to repair had been rapidly growing ever since. Currently, our repair staff has a combined total of over 25 years experience in repairing electronics and doing computer programming.

In 2014, LGS was able to add on even more services to our customers, from web development to a full on print company. In fact, LGS has grown so much in the last few years that it has actually outgrown two locations and we are now on our third location, right off of Hwy 23 on the East side of St. Cloud. We now have the largest retro video game selection in the area, and have expanded into the world of toys, collectibles, vinyl records, comics books and other unique treasures, as well as cell phone service plans and a larger selection of electronics. Dozens of people now visit LGS everyday to have their electronics fixed, get cash for what they’re not using anymore, or to take a trip down memory lane. The LGS staff genuinely loves what they do and we look forward to continued growth and to helping our customers for many years to come. Thank you so much to our customers for your business!
